Hey renagaderider,I was getting excited there for a minute!

 

It will work for all bombardier products. Good find but costly

 

$1,999.00 plus $30 for shipping? Anyone actually know what performance gains would be? Never seen this before. If you owned it, would BRP have legals rights? Scary buy as far as I am concerned!

 

I seen one of these on Ebay last year. No gains I don't think. I don't remember changing the timing on sleds on that one. It would program keys and put info on chip in your sled. It didn't do too much. $2000 is rediculous. I seen it go for just under $1000.

 

Scary, could blow the security that BRP has in place. IMO. Maybe they are waiting to see grabs it up?

 

I don't know if it can program a brand new tether for a stolen sled without the original tether?? When I bought a spare tether, he needed the orginal tether to first program the controller, and then he plugged in the brand new "blank" tether. Good question to be answered by a dealer.

 

I've seen several of these on ebay go for around $800.
Your sled could be stolen using this device.

 

When they were new thay cost $1000 and if updated will program DESS keys on non SDI sleds but is now outdated, the new BUDS system does alot more ,If there a hotrod shop for Seadoo's and its a hot thing to have why are thay selling it it won't work on the 4 TEC or DI engines

 

Pretty usless without the buds software, and Bombardier recalibration software to back it up.....

It can change your timing plus or minus 4* and program keys.......BIG DEAL..

Also, If DOO finds out which DEALERSHIP it came from......THEY would be in trouble..

I almost bought one once from a dealer going out of buisness...they could care less if they got in trouble! but $800 was to steep for me.

 

That seems like one of those things that could just end up getting a guy in crap, or end up screwin sh&% up on his sled. There's a reason they don't sell those at WAL-MART!!
