I just put a ripsaw 2, two ply, 1.25” track on my 2022 900 turbo r, and am thinking about studding it with 96 woodys signature series, 1.325, right up the middle. Is this a good stud for trail riding? I read they are more likely to bend than others. Anyone have experience with these studs?

I still have 1.5 IR but I went with 144 studs all in the center, my studs are 1.625 which stands 1/8 inch proud of the track, the same as your 1.325 studs will on 1.25 track. I think that setup will work awesome for you .

I had the 1 ply studs in the original ripsaw track. I believe the 1 ply woodys studs are made of the same material that the signature series are. I had bent/broke about 15 or so in 7000km of riding. Not a big deal to replace, only challenge is to get to nuts off the bent studs, ended up just cutting the studs flush with the nuts with a grinder and then they remove easy.

They are fine. I am putting 96 x 1.450s in my 2 ply track. I am not a big fan of the cupped head on the Gold Diggers. They seem to vibrate on the wheels more than I like.

I wish someone in Canada would bring in Fast Trac studs again.

Last year I got Fast Trac double backers at the Bergstrom booth at the Toronto Show. I also know that Gary from YouTube Mudbrats channel has a sponsorship from them with a standing offer of a free install kit so they must do a fair amount of Canadian online biz.
