I plan to repack bearings in my 2019 inline R&R trailer that has 3500lb Dexter EZ Lube axles. I'm not finding any axle model number markings on the axles to help figure out what bearing grease seals I should order. I know I can figure it out if I pull the hub off, but was hoping to have the part on-hand so I could pull it off and put back on in the same day.

Any chance anyone knows the exact P/N or size of seal that I need?

I used to remove, clean and repack my bearings ever season. Now I jack up the trailer, check wheel bearings for tightness - tighten if loose, check for grease seal leak, spin wheels and listen to bearings, if quiet and no leaks, just grease, until it starts to push, it out the front of the cap. Good to go. I have been doing this for 10 years now and no issues. I use to have 4 trailers with my Auction business and traveled the state, did the same with all of them and never had any issues.

I will probably follow something more similar to your approach in the future, but with the first maintenance on a new trailer I've always preferred to clean out all the factory grease and repack. Maybe unnecessary, but I like to know what grease is inside so I know there are no incompatibilities in grease type. After the 1st repack I will take advantage of the EZ-lubes.

Dexter axle recommend a lithium- complex based grease. Important not to mix lithium type with Non lithium complex type. I just inquired about grease for my Proline trailer with dexter axle, and Arron the owner of Proline sent me this--

Hi Randy,

I'm out of the office today but approved greases can be found here: https://nhtrailers.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/DexterServiceManual.pdf

I believe they're listed on page 53. We do carry one of them as well.

We carry the Valvoline Multi Purpose GM and I just posted it on our online store so it can be purchased right online: https://nhtrailers.com/product/bearing-grease/

Seals & bearings are listed in there too--

I had a few minutes between family obligations so pulled the wheel off to answer my own question. I'll put the answer here in case it is ever searched by someone else.

The Dexter 3500lb EZ-lube axles use Dexter seal P/N 010-019-00. The bearings inside are L44649 & L68149.
If it's any help to you the seal part number crosses over to NAPA number 17144.
