My 06 Mach Z will be sitting there and about every two minutes or so the warning lights will come and a error code of 10-9 will appear on the milage screen? I've tested the battery and its fine, the sled is charging the battery while running. What does this mean? It will do it so much that it draws the battery down to where it won't start and I have to charge it back up. Just went out for a 150 mile ride and had no problems, but having to disconnect the battery after every ride is going to get a little old!!!!!!!!!

I would check Grounds relays switches and battery or wiring for start switch just my .02 Also when the dash lights come on can you always hear the fuel pumps running. mabe thats what is runing down you're bat down..It's hard to tell over the internet.. hopes it helps..

The 10-9 code is not a warning at all, but a part of the normal start-up routine of the Mach Z's speedometer. The speedo is checking out the setting your dealer should have put in regarding the drivers installed on the driveshaft. All sleds do not use the same size drivers to engage the inner lugs of the track and cause the track to rotate. During normal dealer prep, the dealer will activate the driver setting for the Mach Z which is 10-9. Once this driver setting has been made, you shouldn't get this "10-9" indicator constantly flashing on your speedo, but should only flash briefly on the speedo when you hit the starter button. If the 10-9 keeps flashing beyond this point, this indicates that the speedo has not been properly set up and it wants to keep searching for the size drivers installed on the sled. This driver setting is important in that without this information the speedo cannot accurately convert the speed of the driveshaft rotation to the sled's actual speedo.

have you added some thing electrical to the sled
that can cause the ecm to power up the sled
