Sure I have read there are electronics in the harness though. Prob just a simple resistor to tell the ecm something is connected if anything.

I will be buying the cable and test my cheap elm327 Amazon dongle I've been using for years with Torque Pro.

 

I went to purchase the cable and it’s 31$ for shipping on a 50 $ cable!

I paid $17 for coffee that used to be $13 at the start of the year. $6 oak milk for the wife which was $2.50 at the start of the year....anyways you get the point. Death by 1000 needles.

I bought a smiiar one on Amazon. I will be trying it as well shorthly and I will keep you guys posted.

 

before I go down the road starting at step 1, does anyone know or remember anyone that has done any canbus sniffing for the Skidoo stuff?

 

I do remember someone sniffing the canbus, but that was over 8 years ago on the SDI and the gentlemen is out of my reach. There are others who have done so and built successful companies, such as CanDoo Pro.

 

I confirmed today that a cheap amazon wire and elm327 are working for 2024 900r with Torque pro.

Looking at a 60$ (cable + ELM327 + Torque Pro) diagnostic package. I will see next weekend what sensor I can accurately display and log with that setup.
