Anyone have any experience with these knee pads? I seem to bang my knees on the panels and have a few stress marks. Thinkin these will help and cover up the marks.

They look homemade. I was thinking on just getting the skidoo pads, get the rewind handle cover for exhaust side

Was curious how the rewind handle cover works. I'm assuming it's on a hinge and you can still pull start it in morning and use shot rest of day?
I'm not sure if it's on a hinge or not but it doesn't really matter I could open my panel in the morning start the sled and shot for the rest of the day

That's my plan at least I had a bomb whole this last trip and smoke both my knees off the panels and it didn't feel too good

Might try out the sledtred pads. If the doo ones are hard seems like it won’t absorb my knee and crack my side panel like I did with my 2019. We’ll see. Got awhile to think about it until next winter ????

Why not just get kneepad/shinguard combo? I kept bashing my knees, invested in some $100 Troy Lee Designs knee/shin guards and couldn't be happier! Solved all my problems and didn't have to attach any unsightly pads to the sled [emoji4]
I have the same ones probably, XC mtn bike pads. I mtn bike so I had them anyway, some guys even use a troy Lee mtn bike chest protector.

Still nice to have something on the panels too

Yea they're small but thick which I like. I also wear a dirt bike chest protector. Winded myself on the bars once and that was enough of that. Saved me several times since hahaha, never ride without it now!

Those are pretty nice lookin at their website.

Id rather wear $30 moto-x kneepads on my legs. Reason is when im stuck and I need to climb onto the tunnel, or ive had to kneel on the edge of the track or kneel on the suspension (when my sled is on its side) then, i can kneel on the serrated edge of the tunnel and not hurt my knees, shins, etc.

see if this video works

(had to add to youtube to link)

That's perfect!!! I'm ordering a set!

I wear knee pads as much as I can but if I forgot or hit the panels hard from a bomb hole or something its nice to have a flat surface. The joke for the rewind handle busted open my knee a few years ago.

I wear Helium 30 pants which have built in knee pads.. between the two, I don't have a need for anything extra.. Riding rental sleds out west without the Doo pads (still had my pants on with the padding) and after a day of riding and I can barely walk my knees hurt so much.

Knee pads in bibs are a joke (mine have them too...woo wee) compared with a good set of Doo or other aftermarket pads. Definitely time to get the Doo pads for next season.
I agree if that's all you have... I love mine for the Doo pads as like people have said, they are stiffer than the other options, so the pants just dampen them down.

I wear knee braces, and have been running the sled tred pads all season, love them, compared to the ski-doo ones they are 14.5mm thick vrs super thin ones from ski doo, these do three things, give you better protection against you and also the sled and softer padding, they also take up the gap so more comfort, and they provide grip. I also do lots of sled skiing and dont wear knee pads on those days and these work amazing! worth it. they are pre cut to go around the pull cord on the right side. Simple, but work!

If I could get an estart panel for my freeride i would do that and use the sled tred pads, otherwise the coverage isnt that great

I still think the Skidoo ones are way better, the biggest issue I've had is my knee hitting the hole for the pull cord and these cover it over
