Hi I was wondering if some one can help me I have a 521cc engine out of a 90 mach 1 and need to know if I can put it in a 94' formula stx 583 I think i should be able to put the engine mount braket from the 94 on the 90 and drop the engine in but will the clutches and exaust line up? I need to know this before I buy the 94 stx it has no engine. I will greatly appreciate any help becase I need snowmobile to use when the first 3inches of snow falls until theres enough to get the rev out. Thanks again.

I will assume you are going to need to keep the engine and exhaust together as one unit to function properly, you will probably have to make it fit to the new chasis. Also keep in mind your cables and coolant routing and other plumbing. If you are running the same clutches from your 521 sled, just make sure they are aligned the same in the new chasis. You can make this work I'm sure, but take the time and look things over and make alot of pre-fits before you bolt and go. Good luck -Grover

The PRS motor mounts are completly different to the F-chassis- you will need to mount the F-chassis motor plate to the 521 and the 583 pipe will be fine- the rest is just plugging in the elctronics-BJ
