This could be a super bolt on mod or a big waist of $$ (unless you needed new pistons anyway) so lets hear it.

 

Yea. I will be replacing rings,pistons soon....over 2000 miles on the stock 03 rings. Would like some independent dyno results.

 

One of my buds just put the kit in. The previous weekend, he was getting beat by a buds Apex.. and just changed pistons and domes durning the week.. and now he is handling the Apex handily.. with more clutching to do... He was super happy with the results...

Haven't really seen any results on the mountain section, lots of talk about the 827 and some talk about best can and jetting but I haven't seen any dyno # from drop-in 800 pistons and low compresion head (for flatlanders)...

 

I subscribed a yr to dynotech research, they had an 01 800 with the 827 RKT big bore that pushed out 160.

 

The mountain guys don't bother with the dyno because they are too busy riding! A couple guys have put the kits in and have been very happy with the results so far over there.
