Probably the age will get you before the miles with leaking seals, carb boots and the like. One of the most awesome Rotax motors!

 

With no air leak, you can easily get 20 000 km out of a trail ridden 670.

 

Thats good to hear, i just bought it over the summer and im still a little skittish whether shes gonna last the season or if im gonna have to do an overhaul on it mid season

 

They are great motors. If they have a weakness, its the crank.

 

My 670 crank failed at around the 3k kms mark. Rod bearing fell apart and made a mess of things. I guess I could call that a crank failure.
