I have a large BV2S helmet but am thinking about trying an Oxygen Helmet. Does anyone know if the sizing is the same for these two models?

I honestly can't say about sizing compared to a BV2S, but I found the sizing of the oxygen to be accurate. I ordered a large, and later heard they run big. I was a little worried that it wouldn't fit properly. It was just right. I previously ran a large in an HJC. There are a lot of variables to helmet fit. I'd strongly advise trying one on. The earcups in the Oxygen are pretty thick, but you can remove them or remove the sizing pads behind them.

I wore a large BV2s for many years and I now wear a large Oxygen. I’m thinking they are pretty close. One thing I did find with the O2 is if you want to wear those dumb ear muffs you may want to go one larger size because they are very uncomfortable and make putting on the helmet difficult.

I tried a CKX cross sport helmet on at Dennis Kirk this past Saturday. It was a 2x and I had a real hard time getting it started on my head. It was super tight at first. Once I got it on it was a good fit. Getting it on and off was a bear. Seems to be a trend in helmets lately. Making them warmer and quieter by making the fit real tight around the base. I have even found some modulars that are hard to get started on your head. I am looking at a Ski Doo Mod 3 modular.

I went from using a large Bv2s to a large Oxygen. Fits perfectly and use the same balaclava as used in the Bv. Makes it easier to get on and off and it does loosen up a little after you’ve worn it for awhile.

Bought a Mod3 last year and really like how easy it is to get on and off. Tried on a BVS2 and it was difficult to get on and off.
