Use the cheapest one with a mirror.et the mirror to see both slides opening.Giving a bit of gas,you gonna see if slides open together or if one is late.If not,play with adjustment on the cable.Unscrew your idle screw before to be sue they seat comletely.

 

I read on here some time ago, a easy way to sync your carbs is by using a drill bit.

Do this with carbs mounted on engine but with breather or boots removed.
Start by unscrewing your idle screw so the slides rest at the bottom of the carbs.
Slacken off the adjustment in both cables all the way.
Select a drill bit just large enough to slide under the slides. You want to feel friction so make sure you have a large enough drill bit.
Now, slowly adjust the cable till the slide starts to raise up off the drill bit, you will feel the bit getting easier to twist under the slide.
Repeat for other carb.

Recheck your oil injection pump, make sure it's set correctly.

Fire up the engine and turn in your idle screws till you have a nice idle.
This has been the way i've been doing mine on both my older sleds. Someone correct me if it's not a good way.

 

if that's all you got to do then you can pretty much use anything ok then that's easy i never did this before so now i know

Should, I sync mine with a 7/32"

i guess i should of figured this out myself this seems very simple to do . it's funny i first learnt how to work on sleds when i bought my first one 20 years ago believe it or not i never had a dual carb set up so i'm learning

 

Size of the drill bit is not that important. The main thing is you use the same bit for both carbs.
Now, saying this, i would not use a 1" bit LOL!

 

One thing that is very important to check after your syncronization is done is to make sure that when throttle lever is wide open there is still a little play in the cables so the slides aren't bumping into the top covers. With throttle lever wide open reach into carb intake and push up on slides to make sure that the slide isn't bumping into the cover. If it is bumping you will go through a lot of cables.

 

Just remove the Air box, Stick your Index Finger in 1 carb and your middle finger in the next carb.

Cycle the throttle slowly several times and you will tell if they are Sync'd.
