Hi, I'm fairly new on here to dootalk and I'm at wits end trying to find NOS discontinued parts like the title says. I have a sku of about 135 part numbers I'm looking for (mainly 02-07 Ski Doo parts/Ski Doo REV parts). I'm aware of Fullertons PAC (I reached out to them and never heard anything back. I know you must be a dealer to order from them) and also vintage parts Inc which vpi only has a few of parts I'm looking for. Is there any other places that deal with discontinued BRP Ski-Doo parts that anyone knows of? It can be the US or Canada or even worldwide I don't care. If anyone has any info please let me know. Thanks!

Your best bet is to find dealers to do a dealer search. You need 8 dealers. East coast, midwest, rockies, west coast, then the four provinces of Canada. Have them run your part numbers and start calling each dealer individually.

Fuller pac is easier to reach via MJ Thompson btw.

Also have a dealer reach out to vintage parts for you.

Yeah I just reached out to MJ Thompson 2 days ago but haven't heard anything back from her that was on Facebook as I don't know any other way to get a hold of her besides through FB. My local dealer (Blackmans Cycle in Emmaus PA) has been kind of helpful but not completely as I asked if they could run my sku of part numbers through Fullerton's and it seems that they don't want to be bothered doing that as they said it's a hassle and I would need individual sled VIN numbers for each different part that Im looking for.. and like I said I have 135 part numbers I'm trying to find and it's a mix match of MXZ X, XRS, 440 X, 500SS, RENEGADE, etc. sleds. I told them I could provide up to three VIN numbers of the sleds that I own but didn't hear anything back from my local dealer yet on that. What are some really good dealers to deal with throughout the US and Canada that can do Parts check availability and/or who has what and where to find them?

If you get the right dealer, they will run your part number through the Bombardier system to see if other dealers have it. I live in Newfoundland and recently bought a fuel pump from an ex dealer in Manitoba, which is 5 provinces West of me. A dealer on the West coast of Newfoundland told me that the part was in Manitoba, and that there were some in the US as well.

I wouldn't lead off with the fact that you have 135 numbers to search though lol. Maybe try a couple of your most wanted and go from there. I'm sure the dealer will be happy to sell things that they have had sitting in inventory for upwards of 20 years.

It's long been a big disappointment to me that Bombardier supported their machines for so short of a timeframe, sometimes not much more than 10 years.

Yeah that's for sure! BRP carries parts for just a few years and then that's all she wrote lol. Alao that's what I'm thinking and keep saying, that there has got to be dealers out there whether it's in the US or Canada that would love to get rid of some of the parts sitting on the back of their shelves collecting dust. I can't seem to think that there wouldn't be such dealers out there. There has to be. I doo have my local dealer running through all 135 part numbers for me and is letting me know what he can get or has in stock and also where to find all the other parts if available at other dealers / places. That's Blackmans Cycle near me here in Pennsylvania. So I greatly appreciate them doing that. Tim the parts manager said that I just need to give him time so I just put the list in with him Friday afternoon and he said hopefully by Monday afternoon he should have everything emailed over to me. The only thing I couldn't get him to do is run a parts check through Fullerton's. Seemed as if he didn't want to be bothered doing that. Either way I appreciate him going through my parts list one by one and letting me know where to find them. Also I might add, another positive thing is I did hear back from MJ Thompson at Fullerton's and she is going to go through my list one by one as well! So at this point I think I might be on to something and going in the right direction lol. Thanks again for all your help. -Jake
