HP of Early 2000s 500F and 600 Liquid

Does anybody know the HP rating of the early 2000s Skandic 500 fan and 600 liquid cooled engines? Or where I can look them up?

I'll be using the machine at up to 11,000' elevation, and the 33% reduction in HP is significant. Do you have any experience with either of these machines at this elevation?

500F = 60hp

600LC (593) = ~105hp

What I read about this is the twin carb version of the 503 is about 55 hp. The venerable Blizzard 5500 had the same engine/carb setup and supposedly had 55hp, hence the name.

But... if LB says 60 hp, I'm certainly not gonna argue, and that's even better, now I can really brag about it !! :laugh_old:

No Carl you're right, the twin carb 500F is mid- upper 50's, the 550F is just over 60, not quite 65. 60 was an approximation.
