My sled is a 1996 Formula SS it has a 3inch riser and powermadd handgaurd system the risers are straight up and down. Will the handgaurds clear the windshield?

I have a 2001 MXZ 440 fan and put a four inch riser on the sled. Then I installed some Acrebis handguards. With the mounts on (probably depends on what kind of mounts you buy) the guards interfered with the windshield when I turned left and right. I ended up cutting the windshield. I must say it was the best and cheapest mod I made. I am very satisfied with the cut. I'll post a pic later.
