My 2021 900T has a loud rattle when idling. Seems to be coming from inside the muffler. Anyone else had this happen? The other thing I noticed is after idling to warm up when I take off it leaves a red trail in the snow. I think it’s rusty colored water coming out of the exhaust. Any insight about these problems would be appreciated.

Sounds to me like you should either take your muffler out and inspect it to see if for some reason the inside is loose or take it to your dealer and have them do some work to it. Probably need a new muffler.

I just ignored the rattle and kept riding. An entire season later the rattle is a lot louder and my skid plate is melted around the muffler outlet. I just recently talked to my dealer about it and he is going to try to get me a new muffler under warranty. The dealer says they have to have the machine because they have to scan it and send in the results with all warranty claims. My dealer is 400 miles north of where I live so it’s not as easy as it sounds.
