Hey guys... haven't posted on here in several years. Anyhow, I sprung for a new sled this year and picked up a 2017 MXZ TNT 850 for a great price, thanks to Ingles Performance! I was thinking of upgrading the front and center springs with a dual rate adjustable setup from hygear suspension keeping the stocks shocks.

Does anyone know the stock spring rates? Front and Center? What are your thoughts on the dual rate setup... I'm hoping it will keep the sled a little lower, help with cornering and improve bottoming resistance.

Hey

You might want to contact BiteHarder, they have a new product coming out and it maybe just what you could use.

I spoke to them at the Epping Snow Show, I just don't have any release dates and such.

If you want to dual\triple rate springs, give Ian a call at Monster. He knows his stuff, just be honest in your style and expectations.

I use his stuff and he's always been great to work with.

Your front ski shocks are 105 rate stock. Dual rate kits will be in the 325/125, 325/135, 400/125, 400/135 range depending on weight and riding style. Your center is dual rate already, but if you ride hard or weight over 200 you'll most likely need a stiffer tender spring at the very least.
