Needed to make a tool to replace the rollers in a Lads secondary so I whipped up a tool in 15 minutes with no welder required.

Looked around the shop and found that an old jack I don't use anymore had a perfect size handle ( 1 1/4" ) so I cut it in a 45 degree angle .

All you need is a length of 1/2" all thread and 2 1/2" nuts ..( I used a self locking on the inside.) and a couple washers. Once you slip it in the end of the shaft just tighten the outer nut and it takes a grip.

The peice of pipe is just a chunk of exhaust pipe that I made my clutch spring compressor out of but you could use pvc pipe and a bigger washer .

Works slick .

LoL, i too, made one last night, worked awsome, 25 sec of heat with propane torch and a # T-40 Torx, those nasty bolts came right out, Replaced with Metric M8 Bolts for next trip around. One thing i didn,t see was any Floating Washers on either end of the stock Torsion spring on my 2011 MXZ -1200, the New Cudney kit did not come with any either, and after a quick google, Many say not needed with Compression spring as opposed to Torsion spring, hope there right.

#2 Prob Besides it was almost dark and working outside in Freezing temps, after together could not adjust Belt Deflection low enough with adjuster clear in

No one told me the adjuster will go on 2 ways, but only one way is the proper way, There is a Threadless shoulder on one side of the adjuster, this MUST go towards the Helix in order to obtain Proper Belt Deflection. Was no big deal after i spun it off in daylight i quickly noticed my mistake
