A friend of mine was up in Derby this morning and the local dealer(Walt's) had a Adrenaline 900T to demo. He rode it 6 or 8 miles and said it goes hard. He said the power delivery was really good and no turbo lag that he could tell.

He owns three 1200's so knows how they go and says it pulls harder everywhere, stretches your arms out anytime you grab a handful of the loud handle.

He liked the seat and sitting position. He thought it felt light in the steering but didn't spend much time in the twisty stuff. Made a couple of passes on Derby pond and said it felt very fast but the speedo stopped at 40 so hes not sure what kind of speed it had but he said it felt like he was flying.

He thought it rode well but the skis hunted bad, hes used to snow trackers.

Sounds really good, not as quiet as the n/a 900 but not loud either, he liked the sound.

He wasant able to compare it to a 1200 side by side but felt it was stronger than any of his everywhere.

Sounds positive from a guy who puts a bunch of miles on every year and has 18,000 miles on a 2011, 14,000 miles on a 2013, and 25,000 miles on my old 2014. He just got back Saturday from a 6 day 1,400 mile Quebec trip so he has plenty of experience to compare the two sleds. Its got me pumped, cant wait till its time to pick up my new one

I forgot to ask him what it had for a track, I assume a 1.25 ripsaw as it was an adreniline

That's nice to hear, there was someone on Facebook complaining that he got demo on a 900/T and he was complaining that he experienced a lot of terrible turbo lag.

I wonder why the reports are all over the place with some that are good, and some that are bad?

I know at the Colbrook Snodeo they were saying that they had sleds with three different tunes there to ride and several people commented that there was a noticeable difference in the sleds that were there to ride. One person said he rode three sleds and one was awful, one was good, and one was spot on. BRP is still working on the final tune and ECU DBW settings I'm sure. Andy said it went really well and I believe him. for me I was worried that the 900 would not have that strong arm stretching pull between 40 and 80 that the 1200 has but my friend says it has more in his opinion

SUPERTRAXMAG complained about the throttle response as well.. Thought it was the electronic throttle? Might be some demos in my neck of the woods, I really want to try one before I order.

Just got home from a 85 mile ride with the 900 turbo.

let's start with the negative the seat looks great but needs more cushion, feel the tank underneath that's the negative Lol.

The positive the sled handles great the extra weight is a non issue.

I like the extra weight as it is more planted than my 850 as i do mostly trail.

Did a 40 mile blast 40 to 80 mph pretty much non stop, stopped and pulled my clutch guard and my buddies both 850's,clutches were kinda hot the 900 turbo cold could not believe the difference my buddy said that's impressive.

went to the lake not perfect conditions,he has a 17 850 renny from a roll on at about 30 mph the 900 turbo was the winner this was up to 112 on the speedo of the 850 cause the 900 only goes to 40 don't know why.

Tried it with mine 18 850 xrs same thing 30 mph roll on pretty much dead even about 113 on my speedo.

the throttle is a non issue after a few miles, the sled does not feel that powerful but it is sneaky fast, mid range is great.

Getting a demo ride tommorow. Rode my first 850 today, powerful but twitchy compared to my cat 800. Didn't like the seat either. Hopefully the 900 is not as twitchy and comparable or at least close to powerwise.

My 850 handles good it's all in the set up.

The 900t handles good as well.

Like i said in post above the power feels totally different but from the results it's a runner.

That's the same sled my buddy rode with the 40 mph speedo, he felt the same as you, sled is fast and felt like it handle well not being setup for him. Things are starting to get exciting. Hope the seat issue is fixed by production, nothing like bangin off the tunnel by the middle of the day.

Just got back from Ski Doo Demo ride in Minnesota. Rode the 600R, several 900 Turbos.
To be totally honest, The 900 Turbo was kind of a disappointment. throttle response was nowhere near as good as my 1200 non turbo.
It was in sport mode too.
Didn't have the pull that the 1200 has either. My favorite was the 850 Renegade, would buy one in a second.
Will definitely be keeping my 1200 and not buying a 900
Ski Doo reps did say that they are still working out the electrics on the turbo sleds.

That's why I ordered a couple 900 turbo's. I had an 09 1200 and it was so fast it scared me.

Seems we rode the same sleds. Same thoughts here after riding them few weeks ago.

I also rode the 900t in Minnesota today xrs and x . I have a different opinion I own an 850 and my dad a 1200 it's no 850 down low but a 1200 is not going to hang with this 900t period. I had no trouble lifting the skis over some bumps today on the 900t. We were the first ones around the track this morning

I was also at the Minneapolis demo today. The 900r surprised me, even though it weighs 42 more than the 850 (in renegades), the front end could be pulled up when desired. I assume it will get better when broken in more.
Watched one "rider" take a new sled thru the fence and knock it out of commission. It must have been the sweatpants.
Rode the 600r, both 18.5 and 19 models. And finished by riding a rene 850 (same sled as I rode last two years). On both 600s, I was rather disappointed by the noise, resonance at 6500 rpm, windshield and hood rattles, and general lack of impressiveness anywhere in the powerband. It certainly reved quick, but the revs and noise did not translate to acceleration. Drove straight to dealer and changed my order to another 850.

I almost wish I didn't go to the Minnesota demo today but glad I did anyway, I'm bummed that I was disappointed in both the 900t's that I demoed, the Enduro and the XRS, not sure what I expected but maybe I was expecting too much coming off 850's the last two seasons, now granted it was basically a snocross track that I rode them on but the first thing I noticed was how heavy they both felt, the engines felt lethargic and not very Snappy at all and I couldn't get used to that throttle-by-wire, it almost makes it feel like you're disconnected, the product specialist from BRP said they had been running this engine for 3 years and felt that the final calibrations would be very similar to what they were today, not what I wanted to hear, the new 600 and the 850 are just snappier and more instant throttle response and pull like mad, I planned on ordering a 900t next week but think I will go with another 8 fiddy and see what happens with the 900t after a season of tweeks, maybe it's that throttle-by-wire but the 850 just rips compared to the 900 turbo, I don't care if I have to bring a qaurt of oil with me on a bagger trip because after today I now know it's worth it, I hate giving a bad review on something I wanted to like so bad but oh well I hope I get to ride one on some nice Trails next winter and change my mind for 2020

I have an 850 and not looking to trade it in, but I bet they are still working on the mapping of the 900t, plus there will be a few aftermarket companies that will wake that sled up with a reflash. If you want a lake racer, I'm sure it won't disappoint with some easy tuning.

The 900 turbo that you tried must have been a slow one, the one i had yesterday a 1200 woudn't stand a chance .

The G4 is a twitchy chassis on a hard pack trail compared to a Cat. The "window" of perfection in front end feel is very narrow on a G4. My Axys window was huge, as is the Cat.

BUT, the handling is about the only downfall of the G4 600R. Everything else is better then the rest imo.

I bet the 900T is the trail sled we all know BRP can build.

Just stopped at my dealer to ask about other peoples comments on the 900 and he said that everyone likes it .

He also said when i had dropped the sled off Friday he had taken it for a small ride and was in sport mode but in excel 1 not 3.

I had checked to see if it was in sport mode and didn't realize it was in excel 1 not sure how much difference it would make but just FYI for other people.

Excel has no effect other than when it's used with the learning key.
