Just changed my stock headlight bulbs to the Alpha LED bulbs (H13) by SII and what a huge difference in lighting! I had been reading the various opinions between SII and Beam-techs and felt like I would take a chance on the more expensive SII bulbs. I am so impressed with the increased performance of the headlights. For an aging rider with not so young eyeballs, these lights are a much welcomed improvement. I have now ordered a set for my 2007 Skidoo Legend. No more yellow lights for this rider!

6 /12 position you will have a horizontal line on the projected/reflective light it will look like the light just stops to a line or just 180 degrees of light, 3/9 you get 360 degrees of light so you see further , and higher but they project downward as well like fog lamps like on a car/truck. Also will reflect wider and higher light. Ill be third in line on the trail and my light out shine the two sleds ahead of me. Now those guys have beamtechs 3/9 position.

I think I may need an Advil for my headache...lol..

I have a 2020 renegade XRS, can someone send me the code for the Sii Lights if possible please

Also I am understanding that the position of the lights go in the 3 oclock 9 oclock..yes?
From what I can tell and what I did with mine, the answer is yes. The LED's are at 3 & 9 o'clock.

My Sii lights the narrow part of the light base is at 6 o'clock and the thicker part at 12 o'clock. The Sii manual is not correct, it says he opposite. I would also make sure the lights project so the top of the beam is cut off, as the stock lights are. You do not want to rotate them so you get this "360" appearance. You will be blinding every rider that comes at you. That is not safe or cool!

What are you talking about?!?![/
Maybe this will help put light at a acute or Obtuse 45 degree angle make sure they are the same on each headlight they work really well at this angle

Like a clock! Or
3 and 9 position
Or
III and IX
just in case your clocks are Roman numerals
III= 3 o'clock
IX= 9 o'clock
If all you have are digital clocks i cant help

3/9 give you almost 360 degrees of light and your lights will be really bright, at 6/12 you only get 180 degrees of light.

The pic is one of mine with the 45 and it works well.
I know what the clock positions mean so you can stop with that. You seem to refuse to answer the question of what portion of the lighting assembly is at 3/9 or in other words what is located at the 3/9 position. Which clock position are the LED yellow pads in? Your description is not spelled out well enough.

If someone else is understanding what he's talking about can you please enlighten me? What am I doing wrong in my questioning???

This is correct and exactly what I've been saying. I'm starting to think a certain someone is just stirring the pot or doesn't understand what they're talking about.

I'm not at my sled to poke around right now but I will be this weekend to install these Sii LED bulbs. While i'm thinking of the install how easy to remove windshield to get these installed? or any other component to get to the bulbs that needs to be removed? Any tips on that part of the install i think i've got the actual bulb change downpat after reading this thread. 2019 MXZ blizzard 600r.

Just one edit your bright lights when on can guide ships to port at 3/9 so remember to turn off when you encounter on coming traffic....lol You will like the 3/9 or 45 way better than 6/12

PM me if you like I can call to fill you in what we have seen in real life use 3/9 vs 6/12

The yellow leds are facing up and down or top and bottom at 3/9 vs on the sides left and right at 6/12
Ok, top and bottom is considered 6/12, the sides are considered 3/9.

If you have your LEDs at 6/12 how does the hi/low beam work? Also the light will be blinding oncoming riders because of no cut-off. Brightness is not the only consideration for proper installation.
