My dealer just put these aftermarket seals in my sled.

https://www.sp1products.com/item/568178.

They claimed it's a better seal.
We'll see how they hold up.
Really? An aftermarket seal is in the mix too huh? I guess I haven't heard of people having issues with the newest seal? Have there been reports of the deal with the dot on it failing?

Those look pretty wet. I'd give them a 7 as far as needing to replace. I also feel the more oil coming out of seals the more not staying in engine which isn't a good thing. Plus its just plain messy and in my case wearing my belts out prematurely since they were slipping, building heat.

So the 21’s have been updated I take it. And do they still leak after a certain amount of time? Or is the problem solved for the most part? Haven’t seemed to gather either one of those answers from this thread?

Thank you, we live on LI, there is no riding here so I guess they don't really work on them enough to know the products. He said the parts fiche wasn't clear. They're great guys just don't know this product. Thanks for advise on the gasket too

I'd be worried with that kind of ignorance, they'd set my sled up all wrong too. I can't believe BRP would allow them to be a Doo dealer?? That's not confidence inspiring at all.
