This is for the brand loyal suckers. You know who you are.

Time in seconds for various distances, per the latest amsnow. Looks like the "almighty" 800r has its hands full with a "600 class" sled.

Distance Nytro 800r gade
1/4 12.83 12.79
1000 10.54 10.54
660 8.01 7.99

So yea, the Nytro is "just as fast" as the 800r. They're so close that if the guy on the 800r had an extra coke for lunch he'd lose. The 600 class sleds arent' in the same ballpark as the Nytro. Did you not see that, or are you just too aftraid to post it? I won't even bother posting the apex times, as they're not relevant to this thread.

Totally true, this is the veil yamaha has pulled over everyone to get in to the 600 classs to compete in snocross,i find it so pathetic that yamadudes brag about the nytro being so fast,it should be and its yamaha that continually says its a 130 horse sled but when doo posts their numbers along with the 1200 4-tec numbers the yammi guys get their panties all bunched up saying that doo are liers and that their pathetic to compare it to the nytro when everyone knows that it dynos at over 140[which some do]so who are the pathetic liers out there, its yamaha and its lies, which makes its claims so they can race snocross and fluke out to win 1 race that we never here the end of.So yamablubber i agree with you 100 % on the nytro being fast ,but why don't you make apost about the nytro is too ''fast'' to be classed as a 600 class sled and then maybe they'll stop finishing last at the snocrosses.Which brings me to my next point ,if these sleds are so great and their way better than the doos why are they consistantly not making podiums at snocrosses,i had one yammi guy laugh at me for ''comparing my rev 600SDI '' to his nytro, well i don't have to compare it, its not close ,YAMAHA compared it for us at lasts years snocross schedule and it didn't compare[if ya need results ask YAMANATOR i already sent to him].Now these new nytor's are great sleds and if i buy new next year i was considering one ,but come on guys these ain't the best thing since sliced bread its a nice machine but it is not what you guys make it out to be ,now i stick up for doo because i own one but i don't go around defending the lies and propaganda doo puts out and neither should yammi guys.
I hope all you guys that take the time to come to our site to eavesdrop and then to fictionalize your sleds are also complaining to your politicians about land useage loss and lack of infa structure to our trails because thats our biggest issue. The tree huggers probably laugh at us the way we beat each other up while in the meantime they are gathering speed and schmoozing the politicians while they label us as hooligans wrecking the enviroment

I've always maintained that Slowcross does not have any relavence on what makes a great trail sled. For instance this year Doo has not done as well as they have in the past years, yet they still make an exceptional trail sled.

I don't really see where you're trying to go with proving that the Nytro isn't that great by Slowcross results? They have one true racer in a sea of other makes, with a rider who's definately not in the upper tier of riders. I'll also point out that Malinoski finished 13th last year on the Nytro and the first race he was on the old nytro. Considering it was the first year for Yamaha, not all that shabby. Then consider that Malinoski has only placed 10th this year on the new Doo, with Taylor only 4 places behind him. So not sure what you're actually trying to prove.

I still find it hilarious that you were trying to convince people you were actually interested in Yamaha's. For someone who says that he has no interest in them you do spend a lot of time talking about them =).

i knew i could rustle you with those comments yamanator, and if i wasn't thinkin about buying one why would i ride one for the day,but i wasn't impressed really other than engine but i'm sure youv'e seen the numbers on the new 1200.But actually i've decided i'm goin with the new e-tec and stayin 2 smoke, the 4's are great but i like the 2's.................anyway for a yamaha guy why you on here talkin about doo's so much, because when ever i say something bad about a doo on HCS you wanna kick me off
