Didn't start machine at all last year, decided to see if it would start ,will start and idles nice but when I try to speed it up it bogs and dies unless i use pirmer then it will rev up as long as I keep primeing if I stop it will die or if I leave thottle alone it will idle took apart and cleaned both carbs, machine will run now but bogs when you hit thottle, have to pump it to get it to rev up,seems like its starving for fuel any ideas???I also tried replacing fuel pump with one I had from dif machine, didn't make a diff. When I get it to rev up it sounds good

Here are the detailed specs for the 1993 Skandic II 377, straight from the spec book:

Carbs: 2 x VM30-179
MJ: 140
Needle Jet: 159, O-8
PJ: 35
Needle: 6DH7
Needle Setting: 3
Air screw adjustment: 1 (turns from fully closed)
Idle Speed: 1800-2000RPM
Slide Cut Away: 2.5
Float Adjustment: 23-25mm (0.91" to 0.98")

If you use all of these settings and it still won't work, you have other issues.

Have fun.

This can happen with a faulty primer only if the primer is tee'd of between the fuel pump and carb., if the primer tee is located between the gas tank and fuel pump there is no chance the fuel pump can pump gas through the primer line.
