My manual shows a 92 Formula Plus (582), and 17-19mm on both sides. It lists the carbs as: PTO vm 38-254 and mag as vm 38-255. The 93 is different, so be sure of the year.

Those are indeed the carbs that are on it. What manual do you have by the way? The .PDF that I bought do not list that info.

My Sled is indeed a 1993 though and until just recently I had 2 and were one production number off. They were exactly the same and both '93's

I just purchased a 1993 formula Plus II and was wanting to know if there is any cross reference for carburetors to a newer style or type from mikuni because I would like to buy new ones instead of rebuilding unless one way is less costly than the other. Any info would be wonderful Thanks

 

Personally, I'd stick with the carbs that came in it, unless they are broken. Clean them, clean them again and replace the jets, they should be fine. This is far more cost effective then getting new carbs, syncing them and setting them. Jets are cheap.
