it starts on third pull with choke on,but when it warms up enough to put choke in middle position it stalls unless you hold it wide open. with choke off it wont run unless you feather throtle and keep rpms past 3.

definitely dirty carbs. Pull out both the main and pilot jets and replace them if they are really dirty. These sleds have tiny pilot circuts.

also might be way off here but my 01 800 acted alot like that when the reeds went out so might be an option if cleanin carbs doesnt work ???
