YUASA YTX20HL BS (bottle supplied) & Drag Specialties YTX20HL (factory activated)

I ordered a YUASA YTX20HL-BS battery on Amazon by accident. I had intended to buy the factory activated/sealed version but accidentally ordered the bottle supplied version. No returns but I can use in my ATV.

Questions:
1. Is anyone running this (BS) bottle supplied version in their sleds with the battery mounted on its side without issue? I have an 2015 XRS800 with battery mounted on its side. I understand the acid soaks into the mat when you activate and technically shouldn't leak.
2. Local ATV dealer sells the Drag Specialties 'YTX20HL' battery that is factory sealed/activated. Wondering if anyone has used a Drag Specialty YTX20HL battery in their sled ? Seems like it is identical to the YUASA.

Thanks

During the pandemic, the battery in my 2018 Blizzard failed. The BRP dealer that I dealt w/ (that had a replacement @ the time) was carrying the YTX20HL too. So far so good. The parts guy said they could get the DS batteries, but the Yuasa/BRP replacements were on back order w/ no idea when they'd be available.

Just confirm that the posts are on the correct sides. I have ordered several of the Parts Unlimited branded YTX20s and the posts were on the wrong sides even though the catalog said they were correct.

If the posts are in correct location I wouldnt think twice about using the Parts Unlimited branded batteries. They have a better over the counter warranty than Yuasa and are considerably cheaper.

I don't recall any issue concerning the posts when I installed the DS battery in my Blizzard.

I prefer and would only use the one that comes with the bottle to fill yourself. Bought one a couple years ago to replace my Factory 2016 battery . That way you know it's fresh and hasn't sat on a Shelf sulfating. I've been there when they put my sleds together and they've always had to fill the battery and charge it. Why would Ski-Doo ship them that way if it wasn't a good thing.

Theres no difference in design between the AGM BS and AGM FA battery. After filling the AGM BS battery per instruction you need to let the glass mat fully absorb the acid. Im not sure why they dont offer specific instruction for a angled or sideways mounting.
