Also said that spring break tour models were not close in some ways to the 440. Does anyone know what the changes are. Maybe braces?

Well just a guess but I don't think that Skidoo is going to make changes to the sled that are worse. I don't think that would be very smart of them.caseymelgard said:They better let us know, that is BS.... It better be for the better of the sled!

I believe part of what they are talking about is the fact that the xr-s is not built on a true 440x chassis, it will be a normal rev chassis with some of the braces off the 440.hull34 said:The recent supertrax magazine has a section which said that the MXZ-XRS is going through some minor changes. well yeah that is a true point, but everyone knows that, everyone has known that for like the last 5 months, maybe they are going to suprise us and put the 800r motor in it.... but i think ill be snowmobiling in hell when it freezes over before that happens.dynofox said:I believe part of what they are talking about is the fact that the xr-s is not built on a true 440x chassis, it will be a normal rev chassis with some of the braces off the 440.hull34 said:The recent supertrax magazine has a section which said that the MXZ-XRS is going through some minor changes. Yah that would be nice! If anything doo will cheap out on something, don't forget about all those poor guys who bought 04 adren package sleds and got shafted with POS shocks.snowcross4e said:well yeah that is a true point, but everyone knows that, everyone has known that for like the last 5 months, maybe they are going to suprise us and put the 800r motor in it.... but i think ill be snowmobiling in hell when it freezes over before that happens.dynofox said:I believe part of what they are talking about is the fact that the xr-s is not built on a true 440x chassis, it will be a normal rev chassis with some of the braces off the 440.hull34 said:The recent supertrax magazine has a section which said that the MXZ-XRS is going through some minor changes. here, does this make it clear enough for you...some one better be there to explain it to me and better make sure i understand why the changes were made.
When REV-Rider and I rode the prototype XRS back in January, it was setup with the 440 calibrations.tweener said:Snow-tech said the XRS they test drove last spring looked like a 440 with different decals and a motor..........and it rode harsh, and the asked "how is this going to be trailable?" and ski-doo respoded that it would be softer in the final version......
I hope it is not too soft, cause I'll be up-set.!!
