Hey,
Just talked to my dealer, was told won't get sled till Nov, meaning middle of Nov. Was told they had a problem with the 800r. Anybody heard the same?

I haven't heard that. I didn't receive my snocheck sled last year until then. Nothing unusual. I am friends with our local dealer and he has one checked for himself. I am pretty sure he would of mentioned it to me over a beer or two.

Man, I hope that isn't true. But, then again my '06 wasn't delivered until 11/10/05. Sucks to be the first people to give BRP our money, and the last to get our sleds.

RUMOR I heard was that the 800R engine was slow gettting built and was at CUSTOMS waiting for clearance. Rumor is 1-2 weeks old. Dealer still says sometime in October. END RUMOR

My dealer told me that the factory in Austria (Rotax) lost 7 days of building engines so we should still see them by the end of October.

That must be a summit with the 800r motor? just curious, still waiting for my 800 x-rs
