This is a primary off of a 2007 rev summit, the crank snapped and scarred up the backside. Wondering if it can be run as is or is the damage too substantial that it would throw off balancing. Headed to Colorado in a week advice greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Replace it, it would not be worth the chance.

I'd replace it, but you could have it balanced. For me, it would depend on the sled. If it was a $1000 sled, I don't think I'd put any money into a new clutch. Let a machine shop balance it.

But if it is a $8000 sled and I'm putting $$$ into a rebuild, yes, definitely replace, but still have the new one balanced with the ring gear on.

Not worth the risk, at 8000 rpm right at your foot. What's a new foot worth?
