I copied this from another source and wanted to share it here.

THE LIFE THAT MANY WILL NOT EXPERIENCE OR UNDERSTAND:
I own a Sled because of a personal life choice.
One day when I am very old and when I can not ride my sleds anymore, it will be in my garage as a trophy of my memories.
I have met people who taught me something and have the same spirit.
I meet people now who get wisdom from me.
I get wet,
I get cold,
And I have been hot,
I even hurt myself,
But also, I laughed out loud with the wind.
I spoke a thousand times with myself and Still do.
I sang and shouted with joy like a madman!!
I have seen wonderful places because of my Sled
I have made curves that even my dad would be proud of; other times I made curves full of terror.
I stopped many times to see a landscape.
I spoke with perfect strangers.
I go out with frustrations inside and return home with a feeling of absolute peace in my heart.
I always think how dangerous it is, knowing that the meaning of courage is to advance even feeling fear.
Every time I go up to my ride I think about how wonderful it is. I learned through gestures to communicate with other riders.
I spend money that I shouldn't, I gave up many things, but it's all worth it...
My Sled is not a means of transportation but is a piece of iron with skis and a track that I am blessed with, it's part of who I am.
I love my friends and the joy of great people & Sledding!!

That’s good.

For me I would add these

My sled is an achievement of technical knowledge. I can make changes to it and feel the difference. The feeling of g forces in acceleration and cornering bring excitement and satisfaction.

Snowmobiling is a family sport. Entire families can enjoy a weekend out in nature in its winter beauty. Priceless moments.

No bugs and no dust. Yeah it can be cold but you can add clothes, when it's hot out once you get to naked it's all you can do LOL.
Now that I'm retired and have tons of time to go sledding strangely enough I get enjoyment out of grooming with the club. I guess it's being in the woods in the winter working a throttle.

For me now it’s almost the curiosity if my 3 young boys will follow the interest of mine. I enjoy the time with friends. You have to do something in winter or else winter can be very long. I’ve enjoyed snowmobiling since I was a little boy and I’m hooked. The scary part is just the price that is being asked for them now. When I ordered my first Indy 500 in 1997, I don’t know that I even paid $7,000 for it. It’s amazing the technology that is out there on these machines now vs when I started.
