1.25 inch ripsaw would be great for what you want.

i would think you want more than just 1 1/4 if you are riding in 4 feet of fresh powder. maybe 1 1/2"? im not sure how well a 600 would turn a 1.5" track though.

I would go with as deep of a lug as you can fit under that sled. A 1.75" if I remember right. My friend has one on his 99 MXZ 600, he also went to a 136" track. It's simply awesome. He does tend to burn up hyfax a little quicker than most if you're riding where there's not a lot of powdery snow, but if you live where there's as much snow as you say, then there's really no reason not to do the 1.75"er, unless you don't want to give up any top speed.

I extended my 600 to a 136" dropped to 21 on the top gear and put on a 1.5" track. The 600 pulls it no problem.

Go as big as you can. You will love all of the traction. Drop the tooth on the top gear and let her rip. My 600 pulls my 2" paddle perfectly, and I can't beat the traction of it. I LOVE IT!
