105 on a good day...
104-105 on radar...112 on digital speedo...45/25 gear
On a 05 P-tek on a really good cold day, going down hill with a tail wind and an 85 pound chick behind the throttle.

Otherwise - you can expect anywhere between 95 - 105 MPH.

It also depends on just how hard the snow is, the less drag the faster you will go. Like everyone said 105 mph on GPS is the norm on snow (hard pack). On snow that melted then froze again I have seen 112-113 mph on GPS but that's not normal conditions.
110.936797637mph...

Many things factor into your top speed. Ambient temp, snow pack, track length and lug height, track tension, gearing, clutching, condition of motor, jetting, ect, ect, ect...

I wouldnt expect to see anything more than 100, considder anything above that a bonus...
you guys are way off. last year i was sitting in the cranberry inn overlooking the lake and I had to of heard at least a dozen guys come in saying they got up to 120-125mph.

I take it they serve more than cranberry juice at the Cranberry Inn. LOL!

I own 2 800 HO and they both run 112-114 mph on radar consistently and they also run 120-123 mph on Boondockers Nitrous!!
My sled 05 p tek gps on hard pack was about 105
clutched and piped it was 113 radar and 113 gps
did hit 115 a couple times, but avrige was 113
hope to be faster this year
My 06mxzx 24 45 gears, cudney clutch kit with 1.5 rip saw about 95 on the speedo.Im thinking on trying 24 46 gears this year.Run 23 45 gearing and lost to much top end.

Yah....and that would be on ice right, speed track maybe ?
I think he just wants to know the speed of a box stock one on snow.

I'd like to try a 14"x 121"x 1" track off a new Phazer, bet that's good for 3-4 mph. (compared to a 15"x 1.25" Ripsaw)
Are we talking stock or slightly moded? Bone stock I would everyone is right there with 100-105mph, also what lug track makes a difference. When you run mods some guys sleds run 90-95mph while others are tuned to thier mods can run 110-115mph. The questions is what mods will help with top end while preserving trailability.
When mine was BONE "edit for bad language" stock (04 Adrenaline) it would hit 115-117mph (on speedo) I added 144 studs, then it was down to 113,consistantly (on speedo) (other factors, snow condition, temp, fuel, weight (I weigh @250) all affect results,no way around it) Then I clutched it (cudney kit) dropped top gear 2 teeth, gets out of the hole quicker, still runs 113 (on speedo) .
Wow that's it 105 outta of a 800,the kids on H.C.S. are getting that from their 500XC's.lol

With my clutching, gearing, jetting, & susp changes I see that most of the time (115-117) on the speedo too but GPS says 6 mph less.

* NOTE *

All Revs speedo's read 6 mph high +/- 1 mph.....all of them.
My 500ss hit 120 one day. weird
On the lake last year hit 107mph that was according to the gps, for some reason Im getting a slight miss at 95 mph dirty carbs?
my 03 800 would consistantly hit 106-107 on gps. u would think the 800ho would be at least that good or better. last yr my 700 crossfire,(136 track) was good for 103 on gps?
