Thinking of buying a new sled want a 1000 cc or one of the 800 cc models but not sure about some of the issues on those motors thinking of the most dependable model in the 600 cc class , then if they ever get all the issues figured out with the 800-1000 motors, then i will get the bigger bad boy and hand the smaller sled down to the wife.
So what is the most dependable 2005-6 ski-doo , to hammer on , run wide open for long runs, and to be able to put the most trouble free miles on , without any or very few issues ? anyone

Aside from eating sliders and then idlers, my 05X PT800 had a ball joint replaced in 3462 miles, that's it. (147mm idlers is the cure)

My 06 Gade PT800 has had the left grip replaced in 2600 mile so far, that's it.

The Gade is the most fun I've ever had riding a sled. The handling, ride, wheelie and jump factor is second to none.
