I see these come up for sale quite often with asking prices varying from $200-$450. Those asking prices do not seem to match the condition of the sleds and I do not know what or if the sold for. Your appears nicer than most.

I can’t read the tag , but Is your fiberglass ? Condition of yours, I’d think you would do better than that, especially if it is an early fiberglass boose.

 

Yes, it is fiberglass.

 

Looks to be a 67, 68 or 69. If that backrest is the original one, then my bet is a 69 since the 69 model had a higher backrest than the other two years. Do you see any other VIN numbers other than 3798 on that tag?
It's easily worth $400 to me.
