I bought a sled lift and the shock/ram failed on it. I sent 2 emails, a PM on dootalk, and left 2 voicemails with no response over the past couple weeks. Anyone know if they are still in business?

I wonder where I can get a replacement shock/ram from?

The lift cylinder is a Bulldog ram which is basically a trailer jack. I can get you the part number tomorrow if you need it. If you use an impact driver to operate you are going to trash another one though. I bought mine from the man who makes them years ago and have always used my Milwaukee electric drill so no problems to this day and it gets used quite a bit.

Sorry! We had you confused with another customer that had a similar problem. Sending you a PM now...we'll get you taken care of!

Sorry guys, I know WP is online often, what sucks about these forums is that you cant tag them in it so they see the post so unless someone pings them separately they are unaware of any questions. I sugguest trying their site once again, or even hitting them up on FB.

I know Whip only sells the product and does have a great rapport with the folks who make them so I am sure they can get you replacement parts.

Now with that in mind I use a trailer jack on mine..

If you cant get a hold of him hit me up and I will ping him, he might be out trying to get in a last ride.

Been trying to contact Ken for sometime with no response

That's okay with me

I will take my money elsewhere
It's totally out of character for him not to respond. Talked to him over a month ago about a Tek and haven't heard a word. I might have to follow your lead.

Had a issue with a belt order this winter, they matched the local dealer price and kind of forgot about it. Emailing them on the madsled site got the fastest response if I remember correct . Tried calling and pming here with no response.

They did get it out once the mistake was realized and apologized for it.

Not sure what's up with them, i used to call, order and have parts within days.

Hopefully the "madsled" returns Always great and nice guys to deal with at the snow show

Sorry guys. We have no excuse plain and simple. We dropped the ball on a couple of these lately. Also, for some reason we aren't getting notification when someone posts on threads or PMs us. Pit is looking into that for us.

Trippy - Still waiting for a definitive answer to your TOBE question. Hitting them up again now.

ajmac - Didn't hear back from our initial question to TekRider and then dropped the ball on that one. Following up with them now.

TTA89 - your replacement jack is shipping out tomorrow. The individual that builds these for us got the flu really bad and got behind.

We have been crazy busy with things but that is no excuse and we vow to do better. We sincerely appreciate the DooTalk community that thank you for your past (and hopefully future) support.
