I was at the local swap meet and a guy has an older skidoo for sale. He thought it was a t'nt which is is NOT. I thought it was a formula sp but it doesn't have the MX style shocks on it. The model number is 3613 and it is liquid cooled single carb. I think it is a 462cc but he says it is a 585cc *%@ mate LOL

It would be a Formula SS with a 462cc L/C
I have a 1985 with the same model number.
OK so the SP had the Blizzard MX / Stratos shocks on the rear suspension but the SS was just like a regular leaf sprung and slider sled? I was wondering why it looked like a Formula and not a Safari. It has all the gauges, is this normal? He is asking $500 but would take $400. I think if someone seriously offered him $300 - $350 he'd take it.

What do you think? Kids sled YES or NO?

yep mine is leafs/slider and it has full gauges also. mine is a great sled, light, got some pep but it is still mellow enough for kids. i just rebuilt the suspension on mine for my 10 and 12 yr old girls to ride.

for the price i would be all over it. my kids have a great time on it.just my 2 cents.

i got a few pics of mine on snowtech forum with the skid out.
I'd wager it would be an old Formula as well.

As far as the sled goes, I think they are good machines. I ride an '84 SS25 which is near identical.
