You can add Keen shoes to that list also.

I wear Ski-Doo base layer under my bibs...if it's really cold and I'm running a lot of rail beds I'll put on 2 layers.

Merino wool mid weight from -33*. Super warm, breathes and seem to regulate temps really well. It feels like you aren’t wearing anything from a comfort stand point! I wear the top and bottom with nothing ales but my Klim Keenwah jacket and bibs.

I had no idea about Keen. I actually just stopped buying their boots because I couldn't get more then 6 months out of them for work. Will add them too. The list gets longer.

I personally don't care if a company doesn't support snowmobiling. What company does outside of those directly dependent on snowmobilers? The ones you listed however, actively are trying to eliminate our sport and deny us access to public lands. Screw 'em. REI wants us all to live in caves wearing 21st century gear.

Oh, yeah. I wear Klim midlayers and base layers. It's worked for me to -10F. The Patagonia base layers are great, too.

A little off topic, but X2 on Keen footwear. I'm surprised to hear poor views on their boots. I've had their sandles for over 10 years now and I live in them every summer. Swimming in salt water, mud, gravel... Still going strong.

At $140 CA ten years ago, I little steep but worth it.

No jeans as they are cotton plus I like to have more free movement. I like Underarmor long underware with fleece sweat pants over them. Top half I wear a poly/cotton base layer, fleece mid layer, then my tec-vest, then a FXR shell. If it is really cold like -10 F or colder, I will sub a lined fleece jacket instead of the fleece midlayer.
