Seriously though, the old saying holds true: "cotton kills". Stick with polyester/nylon/spandex blends and you'll be fine. I wear spandex long johns and pyjama pants, then upgrade to sweat pants around -20c.

 

Merino wool. best thing going!!! It comes in light ,mid and expedition weights

 

 

Tommy John boxer briefs and merino wool Icebreaker top and bottom.. under my FXR onezie. I only ride in the mountains and sweat a lot. peace.

 

KLIM base and mid if needed and merino is the warmest,, klim does not smell for a few days,,,

Klim yoga pants and then the Klim fleece pants and then the bids. Always warm never sweaty.

Patagonia long Underwear. I got lots of REI in house brand as well good stuff. Don’t go at me about REI not supporting sledding.

 

Under armor 4.0 compressions. Sweat pants or shorts depending on how cold it is.

 

Go with Merino if you don’t want stink. All synthetics will stink after a day or two of using them. Also getting all the stink out of synthetics never really happens, no matter how many times you wash them.

Never heard of them. Are they anti-snowmobiling? If so, i certainly wouldn't buy from them.

 

Under Armour cold gear and also their cold gear base 1 to 4 depending on temperature. Used to wear sweatpants but switching to Klim transition pants this season also.

REI is on of a few on my boycott list for that reason. REI, North Face, Cliff Bars, all do not support snowmobiling.

I wear Ski-Doo base layer under my bibs...if it's really cold and I'm running a lot of rail beds I'll put on 2 layers.

Merino wool mid weight from -33*. Super warm, breathes and seem to regulate temps really well. It feels like you aren’t wearing anything from a comfort stand point! I wear the top and bottom with nothing ales but my Klim Keenwah jacket and bibs.

 

You can add Keen shoes to that list also.

I had no idea about Keen. I actually just stopped buying their boots because I couldn't get more then 6 months out of them for work. Will add them too. The list gets longer.
