I am ordering parts for my 500ss to keep indefinitely because the price to mile ratio on these sleds in these winters is insane!

Interesting. What does the linkage do for the sled?
Changes the motion ratio of the shock and springs so you can keep that plush feel and have big bottoming resistance in the same sled. As the other fellow posted on a stock Polaris skid there’s a trade off and you have to decide which you prefer or can live without. I’ve been working on these skids since 2019 I have a great shock guy we really had these dialed for the best compromise everyone who ever rode my sleds agreed. I just saw this linkage last week got one put 600 miles on it so far and it’s unbelievable how much better it makes the sled and we are not even done tuning things to it yet.

I hope they have some type of protection on the design or be prepared for a copy from the manufacture soon...

Our boys will be joining us this year so ordered a Grand Touring LE w/Luxury package 900NA hoping this one will be the work horse for years to come. Now I will just have to fight with the wife on who is driving the new GT and who has to ride their sled with the 1+1 seat :ROFLMAO:

I'm going back to a 2-stroke after only owning one for one year since 2010 and my first short track since 2003.

l'm 99% sure it's going to be a Polaris this time. The RAS X has made the Ski-Doo's boring to ride compared to the Matryx in my opinion. Is the quality the same? I don't think so but the fun factor is off the charts on the Polaris and l just need something different to get me excited. I put 190 miles on my buddy's 850 Poo Saturday and l've never had so much fun on a sled. The ergonomics, wind protection, power and handling were all outstanding.

My second choice is an 850 129" MX-Z X with the standard gage and a 1.5" IR track. My final decision will be made on March 13th...

Same sentiment. Ordered a 23 XRS 850 SS big gauge last year and a 23 XCR 650 for the wife. XRS is perfect, too perfect and that’s the problem. Muted and disconnected. Wife’s XCR is off the charts fun, raw, aggressive yet simple.

Tomorrow I buy a leftover 23 XCR 850 while keeping my XRS. Will get a bunch of motor work and be as modified as possible for trail but still pump gas. XRS becomes the lazy trail cruiser sled.

Funny how there is a point where things get too good? Except wind protection, G5 sucks at that

Everything has a plateau so to speak. I believe that’s where the sentiment get while the gettin is good comes from.

It’s sorta like Harley, the rawness makes the bike.

Them, they will be begging me to by a sled in the near future. Show rooms today looked like preseason, not season end..
Exactly! Silcon Valley Bank-Done, GM buying out salaried workers to save 2 billion dollars in the next 2 years, GM says huge layoffs here in Michigan this year for hourly workers coming soon. Dont worry rebates are coming. Just sit back and watch the movie.

Blizzard 600r in the grey. Loved my '23 Blizzard but would like the G5
I am hoping that my dealership starts begging people to buy the 20+ 2023 Blizzards they have. I have only had 4 stroke sleds recently but the idea of having a significantly lighter 50+ LBS then my sled and shorter track 600R Blizzard in the trailer as well would awesome. Plus the yellow blizzard is pretty slick looking in my opinion.

I would assume the dealerships are buying the sleds from BRP and they are not consigned by BRP to the dealer correct? If that is the case the dealerships are more than likely using a bank line of credit to purchase their inventory which would mean the longer they have that sled the more interest the bank would get. Plus they would have to shell out further $$ to purchase their 2024 sleds. Assuming I am not way off base steep discounts have to be in the near future.

Some of the dealers don’t seem to care to sell the stuff, charging insane fees above Msrp still.

There’s also dealers out there saying Brp took the fees away, they aren’t charging the fees and giving small discounts.

Who knows what the deal is. All I know if some of these places have stacked crates, at the end of a terrible winter, and still happy to bend you over. Especially Polaris.. I don’t get it.

After much thought and virtual builds, decided to pull the throttle on a Backcountry Adrenaline 600R with a 1.6 Cobra. Might purchase the accessories separately, but for the sake of availability I added the rail reinforcement, skid plate, and USB charger. Forgot to add knee pads and rear bumper.
