I have a Wet Jet. It's a '95. Never have had an issue with it. It always runs. Not sure what they are worth. And yes, it's just terrible on gas.
do you have a pic, ive never seen or heard of a wet jet until now, is it basically a sea-doo with another name??

I don't have any pics of it that I can find right now. Yes, it is basically the same as a Sea-Doo. It was made by Mastercraft. They don't make them any more.
At first I thought you were talking about the old "Wet Bikes". You know those funny looking things that sat half submerged and had one big ski in front for steering. I rented one once and it was a total blast. They had a ton of power, had to to get up out of the water. You could literally nail the throttle and "launch" out of the water in a type of "wheelie" and land on the surface and just start cruising. Anyone got a pic of one of these???

My '97 Sea-Doo SPX with the 110 hp 800cc engine would completely empty the gas tank if you went full throttle in exactly 44 minutes. About an 11 gallon tank. Average speed was 57 mph on gps. Not that I ever did that more than a few times. (hee hee...)

Most gas I ever used in a day in my Sea-Doo was 100 gallons of gas in a 12 hour day. Mine was also pretty good on gas compared to some of the other ones that friend's have had that I've ridden with.

If you end up with one of those wetbikes like pictured above, my brother has one he'll probably sell pretty cheap. I know it runs, and it's complete, except for it's missing a front ski.

He's also got a couple Sea-Doos he wants to sell. A 1997 Sea-Doo XP and a '95 or '96 Sea-Doo HX. PM me if interested.
Here is a picture of a Kraze knew a guy that had one said he never had any troubles with it also had a friend that had one of the original wet jets that look like a sled thing was cool back in the day but wasn't as much fun as the new PWC's
