Hello from Siberia !

We found problems with the snowmobile Expedition SE 900 turbo

1. The drive shaft slides in the track. If high engine speeds and a lot of effort. Adjusting the track tension does not solve the problem.

2. The exhaust pipe is very hot. Fire may occur.

3. Ice forms in the steering tie covers. An accident has occurred.

Have you had any such problems?

Sorry for the bad english!

Very sure! We use 7 snowmobiles. Runs 500-700 kilometers. Checked all the details. Everyone has the same problem. Showed the snowmobiles to dealers. Dealers do not know how to help us. Because of this, the drive shaft wears out. There is a lot of snow in Siberia. The conditions are complex. We have been using BRP snowmobiles for over 20 years. There have never been such problems.

That is impressive! The damage to the drive cogs is extensive. Does the expedition have the articulating rear axle? If so, could it articulate and take tension off of the extrovert drivers allowing the track to slip or ratchet under extreme loads?

I'm sorry. I probably misunderstood your question (poor translation). If about it (the attached picture) then it does not matter if this or a free position is fixed.

The step is 2.8 or 3 ... We have 2.8. 1.5, 1.8 is the height of the hook (I do not know how to correctly translate) the tracks. I have a 1.5.
