For anyone that rides the Cadillac area; Larry Solse, manager of Mitchell Lake State Park is attempting to close the trail that comes off of Lake Cadillac, through the park over to Lake Mitchell. Please call the him @ 231-775-7911 and call the Cadillac Visitors Bureau to voice your complaint.

If this is done, this will force snowmobilers to cross in dangerous intersections and areas.

Didn't realize a "manager" of a park had so much control, the DNR has no say so

Cadillac Winter Warriors and Promotions is asking for your help.

THANKS

I emailed him and mentioned that closing the trail will make a difference in the money I spend as well as family and friends spend in Cadillac both in the winter and year-round. The loss could be devastating on Coz's 8-Ball Lounge!
never understood why people would even bother riding south of grayling
cadillac snowmobiling? lol
drive 2 hours north to gaylord were the real snow is

agree ive rode south once to tipp-up-town andit was a good snowy year and it jjust plan sucked anyways.
For the most part, Cadillac keeps their trails in better shape than Grayling/Gaylord area. My opinion of course.

4 weeks ago we drove through Mitchell State Park in Cadillac, they had the snow fences and signs up to mark the snowmobile trail. It sure looked like it will be open to me.
