I had a TC118 which is the same as a TC128 only 1' shorter. I didn't like the fact you can't see around it and it was difficult to back because it is a short, wide trailer. I didn't like the front access door on the TC118 because it did let in road spray. Not a lot, but enough to make black water streaks on my sled. The over deck design of the TC128 makes the ramp steeper which is no big deal for snowmobiles but if you ever want to use the trailer for hauling a riding mower, golf cart or motorcycle the TC167 is much more versatile trailer. And the ramp angle of the TC167 is much less than the TC118 because the wheels are on the outside of the trailer instead of it being an over deck design like the TC118 & 128. I pull it with a '12 F150 Ecoboost and only get about 2.5 to 3 mpg better than I did with my TC118 but it sure feels easier to pull and you don't feel the wind resistance going into a head wind and it is so easy to see behind you and I have the stock mirrors and not the towing option larger mirrors. The 167 is so much easier to back up too and I love the big 14" wheels and lower deck height. I got the single axle and no brakes and you can move it around buy hand where you can't with a tandem version because that extra axle is harder to drag those tires sideways while moving it. I'd guess a used TC128 is worth about $4500. I paid $5695 (+ tax, license and dealer installed ski guides and paddle grabbers and spare tire) and that was as good as I could advertised anywhere from NY to SD and even the dealers near Hartford WI where Triton trailers are made were at the same price depending on options. Mine has a left side man door and fuel door. That is the clear set up too. Great for fueling both sleds from the same side as well as the tow vehicle. So, decide how much gas you can buy and how much you use it and weight the difference. In my opinion the 167 is much more usable trailer, pulls better, and the rear visibility is a huge piece of mind knowing what is behind you on the highway but you are not suffering with the TC128.
