I am fairly new to the activity and recently purchased '14 BCX 800. When I picked up my machine and the salesperson was going over the features and how to stuff, he specifically instructed me to not use the storage locations on the CVT/belt guard for the supplied tools. That in fact if I did and they some how came loose/fell out/etc and went into the clutch and effed things up………I would be out of luck on the warranty. In the book, which he also told me to read and follow closely, it shows and tells to store your tools there. What is anyone else's experience? I mean BRP made the guard and knew what all is going on under and around it, and they wrote the book telling what to do with the tools that they provide. It really should be a no brainer. Maybe if my dealer is concerned, he could provide me the storage bag that mounts to the CVT as a no charge freebie!
