Not mine , I was just posting odd pictures of mine to support the thread .
I was lead carpenter along with another guy on this project . It's on a private estate /preserve 15 miles north of me .
The pilings and connecting steel framework cost 175K.It's only 32 ×38.
Being in the Adirondack Park you need permission to build almost anything ,and the commission is filled with tree huggers . The application for the boat house was filed in the spring of 2006 and after many site visits ,environmental impact study, and reviews they downsized the boat house and eliminated the second floor . It wasn't until May of 2020 that permission was granted , welcome to the Adirondack Park ! It wouldn't have been so bad but they really don't like anything on or near the water . Mind you these people own the entire lake .
