Well guys, the Penguin is on life support.
Sure hope he can hold on for a few more days. These next few days are going to be touch and go for the little guy, with the forecast being:

Today: Cloudy with periods of rain. High 41F. ESE winds shifting to SSW at 10 to 15 mph. Rainfall near a half an inch.

Tonight: Showers early, then cloudy overnight. Low 33F. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

Tomorrow: Cloudy skies with periods of light rain later in the day. High 38F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

Sunday is offering a little promise, so hopefully he'll be able to pull through, but it doesn't look good. Unfortunately his family has been unable to join him, so if you could, please say a little prayer for him and keep him in your thoughts.

Just a warning, the attached picture is a bit graphic, so preceed with caution.

Must be a really hard time for anyone living near by him and watching him first hand suffer through this. Wishing him the best and hoping he will pull through.... at least til his family gets there. Please make sure the ol boy has a legal will done up as you said it isnt looking good.

I've seen this before..... Fedex the Penguin to southern Maine. It'll be a nice vacation for him/her. It's suppose to be 50% on Saturday with a light warm spring breeze. This should feel nice for the locals and the penguin as we're getting 1 1/2" on rain today.

I take it back! Don't send the penguin to Maine! I attached a picture of our test experiment.

He's not happy.

It's not easy getting around without snow.

Keep those prayers coming folks - it's working! It doesn't look good now at all, but if the Big Guy can hold on until Sunday he just might make it!! Here is an update:

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A LAKE EFFECT
SNOW WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

LOW PRESSURE MOVING NORTH OF LAKE ONTARIO WILL BRING A GENERAL
1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW SUNDAY MORNING. MUCH COLDER AIR FILTERING
INTO THE AREA SUNDAY AFTERNOON WILL THEN GENERATE BANDS OF LAKE
EFFECT SNOW OFF LAKE ONTARIO. THE LAKE SNOWS WILL PICK UP SUNDAY
NIGHT AND LAST THROUGH TUESDAY.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 FEET
ARE EXPECTED BY TUESDAY EVENING IN THE MOST PERSISTENT LAKE SNOW
AREAS.
