I have a tapp. The set up is great for 11 lbs. if I start to turn it up it over revs. I have all the Alan bolts in the arms and 3 washers on each roller bolt.

To add more weight can I add washers to the bolts on the arm??? Here is a pic have not run or tried this as the washer looks like it should not be there.

Please let me know thanks

the bolt that holds the roller needs to be longer and you can add weights for both sides of the arm

At 12 pds depending on secondary i would say you would need very little weight if any at all.

When we ran at that range we had NO weight in clutch short bolts holding arm, no set screw.

Same blue spring # 25 ramps secondary 47/40 white BRP spring 26 pds pre load.

All this depends on gearing 24 top 40 bottom, and track 1 inch

If it was me chasing RPM i would take weight out hit my target RPM and work from there.

Good luck

Took out 4 of the 8 Allen bolts and 2 washers per roller bolt and turned to 17 psi and came up to bout 8300 rpm in the steep deep snow. Wish it wasn't so hard to pack up a lap top to c exactly what my rpms are cause it's so hard to look at dash when your on the throttle and climbing. By time I get down to the truck my data log is way gone from the hill climbs.

so it sounds like you needed huge weight changes as well.

there may be another option for you. there is a way you can put your logging capabilities on a switch. so when you want to log you flip the switch it will start your logging. then flip the switch off and it will stop the logging.

you would have to send martin an email to see which wire it is you have to add the switch into
