I have a 2007 summit X 800. The skis were set to the wider stance so I was going to try them with spacers switched so they are further in. They are the stock skis and when I took them off, I noticed there is the carbide in the center and also another molded "keel" or ridge to the outside edge. Has anyone ever switched sides so that ridge is on the inner edge? Would this be better or worse and for what kind of riding? I do 75% trails right now as I'm new to sledding and not to great in the deep yet. I've gathered that people don't like the stock skis, but new ones aren't in my immediate future and honestly, I probably wouldn't even notice yet.
