I am having trouble figuring out what is the real difference between the SP and the X for 2019 - the obvious things are the shocks and the colors, is that really the sum of the difference between the 2 ? Where is that couple grand going ?

Thanks!!

If it's the same as the past two years, you get rebuildable shocks, different running boards, X only colors and extended warranty. If you're planning to keep the sled more than two years, the X is probably the way to go. SP shocks last only a season and aren't rebuildable, and Doo wants a ridiculous amount for replacement shocks. If you're not planning to keep it long term or want upgraded suspension, get the SP.

For $550 for KYB junk shocks, a few more stickers and a plastic X that breaks off the grill. Not worth it IMHO

Base model sleds are where it's at.

Personally that's all I'll ever buy, mostly because my sleds stay stock for .2 miles and that's it

X models have better running boards, light weight break rotor with braided stainless steel brake line, re-buildable / re-valveable shocks, and around 5-10lbs lighter. Plus colors options if those matter to you.

Where does the weight savings come from? and isn't the gauge cluster different n the x package?
The weight savings comes from the shocks, lighter chromoly lower A-Arms( at least that used to be the case), lighter brake rotor.

Gauge is the same now
