Anyone know if a summit skid will fit into a renegade as a bolt in and go?

Wanting to put a 146 under my 1200.

The bolt holes are not in the same place
the summit skid has no transfer
Just put in longer rails with big wheels it will fit without tunnel extension,

ice age rails im guessing and just bolt my current suspension in?
That's your best bet. IA does a real nice job at rails. Swapping longer skids is usually never easy. It's hard to find mounting dimensions unless you have access to a machine with the skid already installed. Once you get that, you usually need to buy or fab some sort of drop bracket for the back arm.

Not sure if you could squeek a 2.5 in that tunnel or not. With the Ez Ryde I had which mounted a bit higher in the tunnel than the SC-5 I didn't have the clearance and had to stick with the 2.3 which has worked out really well.

Biggest bang for your buck in converting the 1200 to a off trail bandit is the narrow front end. Night and day easier to pull over with the narrow front end.

Yea I think I'll settle for the IA rails and just drop the same suspension in. Then either a 1.75 or a 2 inch track.
