I am building a 144 and need to know the distance to mount the rear skid brackets.

what is the center to center distance for the skid? I have seen on here people saying 31 7/8

is this correct.

now on a 440 chassis does the tail start angling up sooner than on a mxz? If i mount t 31 7/8 the mount is basically on that angle.

I made my own plates. Basically just cnc plasma cut out 2 mild steel plates, bent to fit, some holes to clear existing rivits and spot welded one to the other. Simple to do just takes a bit to get the angle of the 440 tunnel nice and flush. Actually this may have been the prototype but pretty close to the final ones I used

I just swapped my 121 over to a summit 144 skid. 31 and 7/8 is correct, make sure your height is correct as well (look at drop bracket mounting height thread in here).
